Things of Metal and Stone

"Clockwork Industry: Parts I-III"

These pendants were created as a series of three in the same theme.
Using materials such as wire, chain, nuts, semi-precious stones and
other found objects, a fine balance has been created between
delicacy and heavy-duty industry.

*
Part I:

Freshwater pearls coupled with peridot and pastel green
seed beads lend a lively and verdant feel to the pendant.

*

Part II:

Second in the series, peridot and purple tinged pearls give a
rosier, earthier tone to this pendant.

*

Part III:

Elegant space age: Classic black and white theme moved
into the 21st century, with black seed beads, freshwater pearls
and perfect spheres of hematite that are reminiscent of miniature ball bearings.

"Pearls & Oysters"

Studs created using a combination of pearls, semi-precious stones and metallic bits and pieces. The stones used are either hematite (grey), garnet (dark red) or peridot (green).

"Legal Tender: Parts I-IV"

Series of four pendants, the designs of which were created
around faux coins.
Employing my usual materials of wire, chain, nuts,
semi-precious stones, these
pendants have an earthy and rustic feel.
Lengths of chain at the base of each pendant
add movement and fluidity
to the pieces.
